CHARLOTTE - The volleyball team rolled to a straight sets victory over Johnson C. Smith University on Monday night. The Hawks won with final set scores of 25-12, 25-9, and 25-11. With the win, the Hawks run their overall record to 16-5 and 12-1 in the CIAA. 

VIctoria Lewis paced Chowan wtih 14 kills in the match. She also tallied seven service aces. Teammate Karina Monroe finished the night up with 11 kills, two blocks, and two service aces. Callie Armistead had 27 assists in the match. 

The Hawks still sit atop of the CIAA at 12-1 overall. They will host Shaw University and the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday in a tri-match in their next outing.
