GREENVILLE, SC - The volleyball team split play at the North Greenville University Tri-Match this afternoon. The Hawks beat North Greenville 3-1 but dropped their second match of the day to Lincoln Memorial University in straight sets. 

Chowan opened the day with a 3-1 win over host-team North Greenville University with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 19-25, and 25-21. Karina Monroe and Desaray Turner paced the team with 15 kills each. 

LMU downed the Hawks in straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-10, and 25-11. Victoria Lewis led the team with seven kills. 

The Hawks now move to 21-8 on the year after today's split.
