MURFREESBORO - The men's soccer team fell 8-0 to Pfeiffer University this afternoon. The Hawks move to 1-10 on the year while Pfeiffer improves to 8-3 with the win. Chowan was out shot in the match 34 to five and gave up seven first half scores. 

The Hawks held the Falcons to one second period score but seven goals in the first period didn't leave much time for recovery. Josh Cenci started in goal, playing 45:00, allowing seven scores and getting three stops. Ariah Mousavizadegan played the second period in goal for the Hawks allowing one score and getting three saves. 

The Hawks will travel to play Wingate om October 14th in their next outing.
