MURFREESBORO - The volleyball team won three straight games (30-14, 30-17, 30-26) to win their season home opener over Roanoke Bible College. The Hawks out hit RBC 41-14 in the match and had over 100 attempts at the net. 

Pacing Chowan tonight was junior Christina Eteuati who had 17 kills, 6 service aces, and 7 blocks. Teammate Jazmim Orozco followed close behind with 12 kills, 5 service aces, and 4 digs. Whitney Perry tallied 33 assists in tonight's. 

Tonight's victory over RBC was Marci Jenkins' first win as a head collegiate coach and evened Chowan's overall record at 1-1. They will travel to Greensboro College tomorrow for a 7:00pm match.
