ELIZABETH CITY, NC - The volleyball team ended an eight game losing streak after beating Roanoke Bible College this evening in straight games. The win moved Chowan to 2-9 on the year after beating RBC 30-22, 30-25, and 30-24. 

Freshman Jazmim Orozco paced Chowan with a career-high 33 kills. The El Paso, Texas native also had 6 digs and 3 solo blocks. Jenetta Howard tallied 7 kills while Jenny Baugham had a team-high 21 digs. Whitney Perry collected 38 assists in the match. 

Chowan will hit the hard court next Wednesday when North Carolina Wesleyan comes to town for a 7:00pm match.
