MURFREESBORO - The volleyball team dropped a home match to visiting Elizabeth City State University this evening in three games. Chowan lost with final game scores of 30-21, 30-24, and 30-13. The Hawks were out hit in the match 32-15 with Jazmin Orozco collecting a team high 7 kills for Chowan. Orozco also had 2 service aces and 2 solo blocks. 

After tonight's loss the Hawks move to 4-16 on the year while ECSU improves to 15-10 on the season. Chowan will play their final match of the season on Tuesday against the University of the District of Columbia. Game time is slated for 6:00pm.
