MURFREESBORO, NC – The women's volleyball team opened up at home with a win over Roanoke Bible College.
The Braves came out strong winning the first and second games 30-14 and 30-25 respectively. The Flames of Roanoke Bible were not going to go down quietly picking up the win in the third game 30-27. The Braves finished the match with a fourth game victory 30-26.
The Braves had a combined team effort in the win with Sophomore
Keyon Sellers (Effingham, SC) leading the way with 12 kills and 24 digs. Senior
Rebecca Mainquist (Louisburg, VA) also had a great night with 8 service aces and 26 assists.
The volleyball team now 1-2 heads to Greensboro College Wednesday, September 7th game time 7pm.
