ANNVILLE, PA-The Braves fell to 3-7 on the season after losing in the opening round of the Lebanon Valley College Tournament to John Jay (New York) 67-65. The Braves could not shake the turnover bug as they accumulated 24 in the game, with several key turnovers coming towards the end of the game. The Braves shot 48% from the floor, including 43% from beyond the three point arch, but managed to let John Jay back in the game with just minutes left in the second half.
Bryan Christian bucketed 17 points to lead the Braves, hitting 8 of 10 shots from the floor.
Steve Harler scored 15 points, 12 of which came from three point land as he hit 4-8.
Dejuan Green scored 14 points in the loss and had 6 assists. The Braves hope to redeem themselves at a 5:00pm match-up with Delaware Valley College.
