GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced the men's basketball awards prior to Thursday's quarterfinals of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship.
The 2025-26 all-conference awards were chosen by the league's head coaches.
Chowan University's Damerius Summers was named First Team All-Conference following a strong junior campaign for the Hawks. The Deerfield Beach, Florida native led the team in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game, while also pacing the team on the glass with 7.1 rebounds per contest. Summers additionally led the team in blocks with one per game.
Summers recorded a season- and career-high 26 points against West Virginia State and reached double figures in 25 of the Hawks' 28 regular-season games, finishing the year with 497 total points. He also totaled 205 rebounds, 28 blocks, and 27 steals throughout the season.
The conference's Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors went to Young Harris, while North Greenville claimed Freshman of the Year. Ferrum University's head coach earned Coach of the Year honors.
Carl Cleveland of Young Harris College was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, becoming the first Mountain Lion to earn that honor. He leads the league and ranks second in NCAA Division II with an average of 26.4 points per game. His 14 double-doubles rank second in the league and ninth in the country. He pulls down 8.5 rebounds per game, ranking him fourth in Conference Carolinas. The senior posted 20 games with at least 20 points, including 10 games with at least 30 points and two 40-point outbursts. He was twice selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week and was tabbed D2SIDA/NABC National Player of the Week on January 6.

Cameron Bleshoy was selected Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year. The Mountain Lion duo becomes the first Young Harris men's basketball players to earn Conference Carolinas major awards. He was selected Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week five times throughout the season. Bleshoy ranks second in Conference Carolinas and ninth in NCAA Division II with 275 total rebounds while his average of 9.8 boards per game ranks second in the league and 15th in the country. He also ranks third in the league with 28 total blocks and fourth with an average of 1.00 blocks per game. He posted 15 games with at least 10 rebounds, including a season-high of 20.
North Greenville University's
Carter Bobbitt was selected Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year. He averaged 17.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for the Trailblazers. Those marks ranked him 13th in the league in scoring and eighth in rebounding. He scored at least 20 points in 10 games this season, including a season-high of 29 points. Bobbitt also snared at least 10 rebounds in a game six times, posting five double-doubles.
Patrick Corrigan of Ferrum College was tabbed Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year in the Panthers' first year in the league. Corrigan led the Panthers to an overall record of 15-10, going 14-6 in Conference Carolinas games. The Panthers finished second in the Conference Carolinas East Division with a division mark of 7-3. Ferrum earned the third seed and bye into the quarterfinals of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship.
The men's quarterfinals tipoff on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. before the semifinals on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The championship contest is slated for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Conference Carolinas Basketball Championships will also feature the Spirit Championships. The Spirit Championships are scheduled for the morning of Saturday, March 7.
