Box Score MURFREESBORO - The Braves fought tooth and nail against the Pride of Greensboro College today in football action but fell short by just one touchdown. It was a battle of the defenses as both teams were held scoreless until 10:22 left in the second quarter when Greensboro QB Tommy Waters rushed one in for the score 2 yards out on the quarterback keeper (Naglee PAT good). The Braves drove the ball 90 yards downfield to score on a 1 yard run Jawarren Coles (Janney PAT good), who set the touchdown up with a 77 yard run. It was all tied up at the half. Late in the third quarter the Pride capped off an 86 yard drive with a score when Waters hit Graydiegh Lowe from 6 yards out (Naglee PAT good). The Braves and the Pride were both held scoreless in the fourth. Greensboro takes the victory home with a final score of 14-7. Coles led all rushers with 144 yards on 20 carries with 1 TD.
