Chowan battled back after losing the first two games to defeat Randolph-Macon Women's College, 3-2. Nynda Jowers led the way with 10 kills and five digs. Jennifer Howard added 12 digs, while Erica White contributed four kills, two service aces and seven digs.

The Braves fell to 2-2 overall with a 0-3 loss at the hands of Methodist. Nynda Jowers had eight kills and five digs to lead the Braves.
