Murfreesboro, NC -- Chowan College (2-3, 1-1) used three interceptions, including one for a touchdown, to defeat previously unbeaten Frostburg State University (3-1-, 1-1) 29-16 in an Atlantic Central Football contest.

The Braves closed out the scoring with a 63-yard run by Lamont Boone and a 28 yard field goal by Justin Trout.
Chowan, who came into the game ranked last in the conference in passing defense, allowed only 98 yards passing. Lamont Boone led the Braves on the ground carrying the ball 12 times for 84 yards. The Braves travel to Salisbury State next Saturday to take on the Sea Gulls.
