Box Score MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The Chowan University women's flag football team fell to the University of Mount Olive in a Conference Carolinas matchup on Tuesday evening. The Hawks struck early, scoring on their opening drive when Nevaeh Higdon connected with Kiara Lopez, who ran the ball in for Chowan's first touchdown. Late in the fourth quarter, Higdon found an open Zyian Heyligar in the end zone, and she converted the extra point, giving the Hawks their final score of 13 in the 42-13 decision.
