SANFORD, N.C. – The Chowan University men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Rodeo at the Ridge, hosted by Fayetteville State University in Sanford, N.C., on Monday and Tuesday. The Hawks finished 4th among seven teams. Gabriel Ansley led Chowan with impressive rounds of 75 and 72 in the first and third rounds, while Adam Lankford posted the team's top score in the second round with a 73.

The Hawks saw strong individual efforts at the Rodeo at the Ridge, led by Bryce Koehler, who finished tied for 5th with a team-low total of +5, highlighted by impressive opening rounds of -1 and -2. Adam Lankford and Mika Buchholtz each tied for 14th at +9, with Lankford posting a solid +1 in both the second and third rounds, while Buchholtz stayed steady with scores of +1 and +2. Gabriel Ansley finished tied for 16th at +10, including an even-par third round to help the Hawks stay competitive. Bjoern Holt tied for 26th at +14, and Harry Jones finished tied for 30th at +15, both providing crucial middle-team consistency. Rounding out the team, Chance Lassiter tied for 38th at +23 and Jacob Kearney also tied for 38th at +26.

Chowan will return to action next month, competing in the Patriot Fall Classic hosted by Lander University in Ninety Six, S.C., on October 20–21.
