MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University softball team wrapped up the 2025 regular season with a doubleheader sweep of Lees-McRae College on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks honored seniors Carly Hannah and Alex Bishop prior to the game. Bishop picked up her 2nd win of the season in a 6-2 game one win. Chowan collected 20 hits over two games to pick up their 10th conference win of the season.

Game One
The Hawks picked up a 6-2 win in game one behind nine team hits and Alex Bishop's solid mound appearance. Bishop scattered four hits and struck out one in her second win of the season. Eight different Hawks collected hits in the win led by Kaitlyn Springle who went 2-2 with an RBI.
Game Two
The Hawks pounded out 11 team hits with five players getting multiple hits. Kyra Helton, Calliope James, Lenita Bryson, Alexis Denham, and Hope Soria each collected two hits in the win. Mackenzie Misenheimer and Kaitlyn Springle added a hit and three runs batted in each. Haileigh Booned picked up the win on the mound after tossing 5.0 shut out innings of softball. Boone struck out two batters and held the Bobcats to two hits in the doubleheader.
