MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University men's lacrosse team dropped a 19-7 decision to Emmanuel University in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon. CU's Reed Low posted five goals in the loss with Jacob Malia getting off five assists. The Hawks fall to 0-5 (0-1) on the year while the Lions improve to 6-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE 
Chowan was paced by Reed Low who scored a season-high five goals. Jacob Malia notched a goal and five assists while Justin Hill, Scott Cathcart, and Julian Wolfe added a score each. Ronaldo Williams won 17 face off's in the match while goalkeeper Rocco Smith stopped 17 shots inside the frame. Defensively, Michael Litchfield had four caused turnovers and four ground balls. The Hawks totaled 37 ground balls as a team in the match and cleared the ball 17 times in 20 attempts.
