KINGSPORT, T.N. - The Chowan University baseball team dropped a 9-0 decision at King University to wrap up the three-game conference series on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks were held to just two hits in the game while King used a seven-run 7th inning to help propel them to victory.

Ryan Bellamy getting singles.
Josh Wise (1-3) picked up the loss on the mound. He threw effectively for six innings, getting five total strikeouts before being replaced in the 7th inning. King used a seven-run 7th inning to propel them to their 6th win of the season.

The Hawks will host Kutztown University in non-conference, midweek action on Wednesday, March 19th. First pitch is slated for 1:00pm. After back-to-back road weekends the Hawks will host their next four games at home, with Kutztown on the 19th and then a three-game conference series with UNC-Pembroke the weekend of the March 21st-22nd.
