MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Hawks baseball team competed in a four-game series against Coker this weekend, finishing with a 1-3 record.

The Hawks got their first win of the season over Coker in game one on Saturday.
Geomar Santana fueled the Hawks' offense, going 3-for-4 with four runs scored and an RBI. Ryan Bellamy went 1-for-3 with three RBIs with the Hawks win.
Josh Wise earned the win on the mound, tossing six innings and allowing just three hits.
In game two on Saturday, Santana collected two hits going 2-for-2. Noah Simpson and Kevin Miranda each added a hit in the match.
In game three on Sunday, Bellamy went 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Warren Bailey was 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a homerun. Santana went 2-for-4 in the game, wrapping up the Hawks' opening weekend with a .533 batting average.
