MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University baseball team concluded their road series at Young Harris on Monday afternoon, falling 12-0 in the final game of the three-game series.

Sophomore Josh Wise (1-1) picked up the loss on the mound after tossing 3.0 innings. Wise scattered six hits and struck out two in the outing. Five Hawks pitched in relief of Wise, including Dylan Nickle who struck out two batters in an inning of work. Josh Tripp, Konnor Tomczak, John Yancey, and Jacob Walker all pitched an inning in relief in the game.
Offensively the Hawks were led by Caleb Karie who went 2-for-3 in Monday's matchup. Ryan Bellamy also contributed to the Hawks hit column after going 2-for-4 with a double. Rowan Hudson added a pinch-hit for the Hawks.

The Chowan University baseball team returns to action on Saturday, February 22nd, as they travel to Lander University for a three-game, non-conference series. First pitch is slated for 1:00pm in Greenwood, South Carolina on Saturday.
