MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University women's basketball team secured a conference victory at Bob Burke Court on Sunday afternoon.

The Hawks scored 32 points in the paint and 27 points from their bench. CU also totaled 15 points off turnovers and secured 11 second-chance points.

Yasmine Brown led the way with 13 points and added four steals. Meara Carter pulled down 10 rebounds while contributing 8 points for the Hawks. Nyeisha Savage and Alexandria James-Fearon each scored 11 points to help secure the win.
