MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Hawks women's basketball team traveled to Lees-McRae this afternoon and secured a victory in Conference Carolinas play.

The Hawks dominated in the paint with 42 points, capitalized on 21 points off turnovers, and scored 14 second-chance points.

Meara Carter notched another double-double, pulling down 11 rebounds and scoring 10 points. Yasmine Brown led the team in scoring with 23 points, three steals, and seven rebounds. Daneesha Briggs contributed 14 points and four steals in the win.
