Box Score MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan University men's soccer team punched their ticket to the Conference Carolinas Semifinals with a 2-1 victory over #11 Emmanuel University on Saturday evening. The Hawks scored once in each half to secure the victory.
With the result, Chowan improves to 10-3-4 on the season and will head to Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park, where the Championship tournament will continue.

The Hawks remained active on both sides of the field, controlling possession for much of the match. Chowan fired 15 total shots, including seven on goal.
Bradley Williams produced four shots and one on goal, while Clay Verdin added four shots and assisted on the Hawks second score. Hlynur Fridriksson recorded two attempts, and Cameron Letterlough opened the scoring with a goal, finishing with one shot and two on frame.
Jeevan Purewal netted the second goal of the evening and posted one shot with two on target. Dillon Rajkovic and Brad Binns each contributed a shot on goal to round out the offensive effort.
In net, Lucas Kibrya played the full 90 minutes, collecting three saves to secure the victory.
