MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Harry Baker of the Chowan Men's Soccer program has been honored with the Builder Services of North Carolina Elite 26 Award following the 2025 season, as the Hawks advanced to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. In addition to earning Second Team All-Conference recognition, Baker receives this prestigious academic award for the second consecutive year.

Modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 Award, the Elite 26 recognizes the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at their respective championship site. Baker, who has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA throughout his collegiate career, is double major in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Sports Management, further underscoring his commitment to excellence beyond the pitch.

A native of Winterton, England, Baker is a three-year member of the program, a senior, and a team captain. He has appeared in 51 career matches with 49 starts as a defender. This season, he started all 18 contests, scoring a goal against Ferrum College and adding three assists, showcasing his impact on both ends of the field while maintaining elite academic standing.
