HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Two runs in the eighth inning handed the Chowan Baseball team a one-run loss on the road against Coker in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Caleb Karie, Christian Bartholomew, and Elvis Rumaldo posted two hits each in the contest. Rumaldo tallied two RBI.
Dawerlyn Amancio, Tyler West, Ty Johnson and Geomar Santana collected one hit each. Amancio, Christian Bartholomew and Ryan Bellamy tallied one RBI each.
Patrick Driggers posted three no-hit innings to start the contest. Landon Oughton pitched 1.2 innings of no-hit ball.
Chowan took a 5-3 lead in the seventh inning on Elvis Rumaldo's double and Christian Bartholomew's single.
Coker regained the lead in the eighth inning on a wild pitch and a stolen base.
