MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team was snake bitten for the second time by the Coker Cobras in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Chowan opened up with a 2-1 lead in the second as Geomar Santana picked up a two RBI single. Orlando Perez Jr. put the Hawks up 3-1 with a single in the fourth before Coker scored 10 unanswered runs including five in the ninth.
Elvis Rumaldo, Tyler West, Noah Simpson, Ty Johnson, Orlando Perez Jr., and Geomar Santana picked up a hit. Perez Jr. and Santana collected a RBI.
Chowan used nine pitchers in the contest with each pitcher recording an inning of work.

Chowan returns to the diamond to start a four-game series against East Stroudsburg on Saturday, February 17. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 11am.
