BELMONT, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team could not overcome the cold shooting from deep as the Hawks dropped the Conference Carolinas contest on the road against Belmont Abbey on Saturday afternoon.

RJ Wilson posted a double-double to lead the Hawks with 17 points and 15 rebounds.  Skyler Davies tallied 13 points and seven rebounds.

Aaron Ross (11) and Damerius Summers (10) were also in double-figures.

Daylan Askew added seven points, six rebounds, and five assists.

Chowan shot 10-30 (33.3%) in the first half and 4-21 (19.0%) from deep in the contest.
