Hawks Rout Mustangs For Second Straight Day

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – The Chowan Baseball team pounded the ball in the second meeting against Mid-Atlantic Christian in as many days with a 19-1 victory on the road on Wednesday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

Christian Bartholomew led the hitting attack with 4-5 at the plate with six RBI including a grand slam.  Geomar Santana went 3-4 at the plate with five RBI and a home run.

Dawerlyn Amancio went 2-5 at the plate with three RBI and a solo home run.

Nicolas Cataldo picked up the win on the mound tossing three shutout innings with three strikeouts.

UP NEXT

Chowan returns to league play as the Hawks travel to take on nationally-ranked UNC Pembroke in a three-game series.  The series is scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, with weather pending.
