MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team posted an emphatic win over Lees-McRae in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

RJ Wilson led the Hawks with a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.  Daylan Askew added a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.  Askew became the Chowan DII single-season scoring holder with his 505 point on the season taking the top spot away from Chowan Hall of Famer, Jaleel Nelson (2009-10, 503).

Preston Le Gassick chipped in with 10 points.  Skyler Davies, honored before the contest for senior day, tallied eight points, six rebounds, and four blocks.  Paul Whitby, also honored for senior day, posted two points in five minutes.

Chowan shot 60% in the second half.
