MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Chowan University Hawks matched up against the Mid-Atlantic University Mustangs at the Hawks Athletic Center on Thursday afternoon, securing a 124-13 victory. The Hawks put up the most points since they played Barber-Scotia on December 7th, 2013.

Every player on the Hawks roster saw action and contributed to the scoring in the match. The team totaled 40 rebounds, including 18 offensive. The Hawks scored 59 points off turnovers and added 25 fast break points.Â
Nyeisha Savage finished with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Meara Carter scored 18 points in just 18 minutes of play and also grabbed six rebounds. Yasmine Brown was perfect from the field, finishing with 14 points on a perfect 6-6 shooting, including 2-2 from three.
