DUE WEST, S.C. – The Chowan Women's Basketball team returned to the win column with a close victory over Erskine in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

Daneesha Briggs scored a career-high 19 points on 7-8 shooting.  Imani Hickman added 10 points.

Meara Carter collected seven points and a team-high nine rebounds.  Yasmine Brown added seven points with four rebounds and four assists.

Chowan built a double-digit lead at the half after shooting 75% (9-12) from the floor in the second quarter.
