MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team used a double-digit run in the final five minutes to fend off Young Harris in a Conference Carolinas contest on Saturday evening.

Daylan Askew continued to score at a high rate with his 11th 20+ point outing with 27 points to go with six rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks.
RJ Wilson returned to form with a double-double posting 15 points and 12 rebounds. Preston Le Gassick added 12 points and five assists, while Skyler Davies added 11 points, six rebounds, and four blocks.
Chowan went on a 12-0 run with five minutes to go after Young Harris closed the gap to 76-75. The turning point in the contest was after Aaron James knocked down a triple to tie the game, Young Harris was called for a technical foul with eight minutes remaining.
