MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team fought off the Trojans of Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas East Division action on Wednesday night behind Daylan Askew's career-high night.

Daylan Askew led the way with his 10th 20+ point night, most in Chowan's DII history in a single-season posting a career-high 33 points on 10-18 shooting from the floor.
Preston Le Gassick added a double-double with a career-high 11 assists to go with 12 points. Skyler Davies added 13 points, while RJ Wilson contributed 14 points and nine rebounds. Cheick Traore hauled in a team-high 11 rebounds.
Chowan struggled from behind the arc in the second half (1-9) but picked up points at the stripe going 15-20.
The Hawks improved to 8-1 on the road this season and their sixth straight road victory.
