KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the recipients of the 2022-23 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court, representing outstanding achievement in the classroom by collegiate men's basketball teams and student-athletes.

The Chowan Men's Basketball program collected the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the first time in program history.  The program posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA to earn the honor.

Cheick Traore and Skyler Davies were selected for the NABC Honors Court as the duo posted above a 3.2 GPA.  The Honors Court selections must by a junior, senior, or graduate student with above a 3.2 GPA.
