TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team could not overcome the fast start by North Greenville in Conference Carolinas action on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Eric George posted five points with a hat-trick and two assists.  Jaxon Martin contributed a hat-trick.

Michael Litchfield, Erik Dozzi, and Harrison Buckman added one goal each.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Eric George started off the contest with a goal before the Crusaders scored three straight.  Michael Litchfield added a goal prior to NGU pushing their lead to 5-2.

Harrison Buckman collected a goal to start the second stanza.  Erk Dozzi added a goal as NGU pushed their lead to 12-4 at the intermission.

Jaxon Martin and Eric George teamed up for a pair of goals before George found the back of the net to cut the deficit to 12-7.

NGU scored a pair of goals to end the third frame, 14-7.

Eric George and Jaxon Martin scored in the fourth quarter before succumbing to defeat, 17-9.

Chowan returns home for a pair of league contest as the Hawks host Emmanuel on Saturday, April 1.  Opening face-off is slated for 2pm.
