MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse dropped a non-conference contest to Lincoln Memorial on Saturday, 15-10.

Jaxon Martin led the Hawks with four goals and two assists. Eric George picked up a hat-trick. Noah Jalal added two goals and two assists. Erik Dozzi collected four assists.
Chowan turned the ball over 31 times and was 17-32 on clears.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Jaxon Martin would score the opening goal as his initial shot was saved. Martin corralled the ball in front of goal and swept the attempt in for the first tally.
Lincoln Memorial would score the next five goals before Jaxon Martin scored on the man-advantage off an assist by Erik Dozzi to trail 5-2.
Eric George scored the lone goal in the second frame as LMU led 8-3 at the break.
Noah Jalal found Eric George and Rylan Downey for a goal before Erik Dozzi collected a pair of assists on Jalal and Jaxon Martin's attempts to cut the deficit to 10-7.
Jaxon Martin found Noah Jalal for a goal to open the fourth quarter as LMU put distance between them and the Hawks with four straight goals, 14-8.
Eric George scored off an assist by Jaxon Martin before Martin found the back of the net from Erik Dozzi to conclude the scoring.
