MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team used the spark off the bench by Damerius Summers to power past North Greenville in Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday afternoon.

Damerius Summers and RJ Wilson collected a double-double in the contest. Summers posted a career-high 18 points and 13 rebounds in 16 minutes of action off the bench. Wilson tallied 19 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.
Daylan Askew posted 19 points with four assists. Skyler Davies added six points, nine rebounds, and three blocks.
Chowan's defense held North Greenville to 4-19 (21.1%) from behind the arc.
The Hawks ended the contest on a 16-4 in the final 6:37 after NGU cut the deficit to 66-63. Chowan held NGU to 3-14 shooting in the final ten minutes of action.
