PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball late run in the final two minutes of play came up just short in an 88-84 defeat against Columbus State on Saturday evening.

Daylan Askew posted a season-high 25 points with six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
RJ Wilson posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Skyler Davies added 13 points, nine boards and two blocks. Preston Le Gassick chipped in with 12 points and seven assists.
The Hawks shot 4-10 from the stripe in the second half. Columbus State forced 14 turnovers for a plus-seven advantage in points off turnovers.
