GREENVILLE, S.C. - Harri Lovett of Chowan and Andrea Scapolo of Francis Marion have collected the weekly honors for Conference Carolinas men's soccer for the week ending Sept. 11, 2022.
 
Lovett was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Week, while Scapolo was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week.
 
A senior from Wrexham, Wales, Lovett scored twice and had three assists in two conference victories for Chowan last week. In capturing the seven points, Lovett first finished with two goals and an assist in Chowan's thrilling 4-3 conference-opening home win over Mount Olive on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Lovett started the win by scoring the second-fastest goal in Chowan history just 23 seconds into the contest. He also scored in the 28^th minute and assisted what would turn out to be the game-winning goal in the 49^th minute. In Chowan's 3-0 win over Southern Wesleyan, Lovett concluded his efforts by assisting two of the three goals in the match.
 
A graduate student from Milan, Italy, Scapolo picked up two clean sheets last week in Francis Marion's 0-0 tie with Coker on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and 4-0 league road win over King on Saturday, Sept. 10. In collecting the two shutout wins, Scapolo stretched his scoreless streak between the pipes to 223:31. Scapolo made seven saves in the two Patriot wins.
