MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 17-3 loss to Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas action at home on Wednesday afternoon.

Grace Taylor posted a pair of goals, while Leia Cabradillia added one goal.
Alexis Rountree tallied four caused turnovers and four groundballs. Morgan Grosse controlled four draw controls.
Kora Turner posted 11 saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
Leia Cabradillia and Grace Taylor posted a shot each in the opening half but was denied by the Mount Olive keeper.
UMO went into the half with a 13-0 advantage.
Second Half:
Grace Taylor posted a pair of shots that were turned away in the frame. Victoria Brown had a chance to put the Hawks on the board as her free position attempt missed wide.
Grace Taylor put the Hawks on the board with 12:44 remaining on an unassisted goal to cut the deficit to 15-1. Taylor found the back of the net on a free position attempt before Leia Cabradillia scored an unassisted goal to trim the deficit to 15-3.
Mount Olive posted two goals in the final minutes to take the victory, 17-3.
