MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan women's lacrosse team fell to the Converse Valkyries at home in a Conference Carolinas matchup on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday's game also marked the Hawks' Senior Day celebration, where eight seniors were honored: Cameryn Barrow, Victoria Brown, Shya Gambrell, Elizabeth Heller, Sarai Sanders, Abbie Sutton, Gracie Timken, and MarDawn Rawls.

The Hawks completed 15 clears and recorded nine draw controls.
Blake Tutman recorded five goals, one assist, eight shots, one caused turnover, and five draw controls. Brown contributed two goals and three draw controls, while Sanders, Timken, and Barrow each added a goal for the Hawks. Rawls picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Kezia Ramos played the full 60 minutes in goal, finishing with 15 saves.
