WILMINGTON, DEL. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team was unable to find much offense on the road as the Hawks fall to Wilmington in non-conference action on Saturday.

Jaxon Martin led the team with two goals. Jackson Downs contributed one goal and one assist. Eric George scored one goal while Jason Jenkins II and Noah Jalal added an assist.
Carlos Pasula added five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter:
Wilmington opened the scoring with four straight goals before Jackson Downs found Jaxon Martin for the opening tally for the Hawks.
The Wildcats would lead 7-1 at the end of the period.
Second Quarter:
Eric George and Jackson Downs found the back of the net on man-up opportunities to start the second to cut the deficit to 7-3.
Wilmington widened their gap to 12-3 at the intermission.
Third Quarter:
The Wildcat run continued with four goals before the final tally by Jaxon Martin for the Hawks, 16-4.
Wilmington would lead 20-4 at the end of the period.
Fourth Quarter:
Wilmington scored the final six goals in the frame for the 26-4 victory.
