PEMBROKE, N.C. – In the final meet of the semester, the Chowan Men's and Women's Swimming program finished up at a tri-meet at UNC Pembroke on Saturday.

THE RESULTS

200 Medley Relay:

The Chowan women's team finished third overall with a time of 1:57.12.

Chowan's "B" relay of Christian Oleaga, Marshall Stevens, David Clark, and Igor Proszynski finished first overall with a time of 1:52.13.  The "A" relay finished third with a time of 1:57.12.

1000 Free:

David Clark touched the wall third to post the seventh best time in program history with a time of 12:29.69.

Briana Wilson posted a fifth place finish with a time of 12:20.89.

200 Free:

Aislinn Kessinger finished fifth overall with a time of 2:11.71, while Atar Idrissi finished in eighth with a time of 2:21.41.

Fabrizio Infante finished second with teammate Igor Proszynski in third.  Infante notched the seventh fastest time in program history with a time of 1:49.90.

100 Back:

Jan Gastal finished second overall with the fourth fastest time in program history with a time of 57.45.  Christian Oleaga finished third with a time of 59.72.

100 Breast:

Andres Martijena finished first overall with a time of 58.38.  Marshall Stevens touched fourth with a time of 1:05.02.

Hiba Laknit touched the wall in third place with a time of 1:13.74.  Arriel Quant finished seventh overall with a time of 1:26.93.

200 Fly:

Aleksei Belolipetskii finished first overall in the event with a time of 2:05.96.

50 Free:

Aislinn Kessinger finished fifth with a time of 27.01.  Frabrizio Infante finished second overall with a time of 22.08.  Brayden Conboy improved his time with a time of 28.24.

100 Free:

Ashley Mayes would finish third overall with a time of 58.54.  Jan Gastal finished second with a time of 49.39.

200 Back:

Erica Mock posted a second place finish in the event with a time of 2:20.46.  Christian Oleaga and Igor Proszynski finished third and fourth respectively for the men.

500 Free:

Atar Idrissi picked up a fifth place finish with a time of 6:31.61.  Igor Proszysnki touched the wall in third with a time of 5:15.32.

100 Fly:

Ashley Mayes finished fourth overall in the event with a time of 1:03.92.  Aleksei Belolipetskii finished second overall with the second fastest time in program history after touching the wall at 51.45.

200 IM:

Erica Mock posted the seventh fastest time in program history with a time of 2:24.68 to finish fifth.  Hiba Laknit finished seventh.

Andres Martijena finished second overall with a time of 2:01.65.

200 Free Relay:

The men led by Aleksei Belolipetskii, Jan Gastal, David Clark, and Fabrizio Infante finished first overall with a time of 1:30.30.

The women finished second as Ashley Mayes, Erica Mock, Atar Idrissi, and Aislinn Kessinger finished with a time of 1:48.34.

Chowan will return to the pool in 2023 as the Hawks will travel to Wilson, N.C. to compete against Barton.
