MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team suffered a 20-4 loss to nationally-ranked Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson Downs led the offense with two goals and one assist. Eric George and Erik Dozzi posted one goal each.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter:
Jaxon Martin tallied a shot on goal midway through the period before Mount Olive scored six goals in the frame.
Second Quarter:
Mount Olive extended their lead to 11-0 before Jackson Downs found Eric George for the opening tally for the Hawks.
Jackson Downs scored with seven seconds in the half to trail 12-2.
Third Quarter:
Jason Jenkins II posted a shot on goal in the frame. UMO pushed their lead to 16-2 at the end of the period.
Fourth Quarter:
Eric George and Erik Dozzi posted a shot on goal early in the period.
Jackson Downs scored an unassisted goal before Erik Dozzi found the back of the net for the final tally for the Hawks.
