TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Golf teams finished tenth overall after the opening round of the Cherokee Valley Invitational on Monday.

THE RESULTS

Patrick Sullivan paced the Hawks with an 82.  Bryce Simms carded an 85, while Graham Cowan and Jaxon Eck rounded out the scoring with an 86.

John Mata posted a score of 99, while Ty Horsley finished with a 103.

On the women's side, Annery Abreu shot 110, while Heidi Jensen (134), and Teja Whitehurst (140) in an individual effort.

ROUND TWO

Chowan golf will wrap up the second round of the Cherokee Valley Invitational hosted by North Greenville, weather permitting, on Tuesday.
