BELMONT, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team suffered a 22-3 loss to #12 Belmont Abbey in Conference Carolinas action on Saturday afternoon on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Period:
Belmont Abbey struck first before Eric George found Jaxon Martin for a tally to even the score at 1-all.
The Crusaders would score six unanswered goals in the frame to lead 7-1.
Eric George tallied two shots on goal during the period.
Second Period:
Belmont Abbey increased their lead to 16-1 at the intermission as the Hawks tallied two shots in the period.
Jackson Downs posted a shot high, along with a save on a shot by Eric George.
Third Period:
Alex Wildeboer and Jackson Downs posted a shot each as BAC pushed their advantage to 19-1.
With 1:09 remaining in the frame, Jackson Downs scored an unassisted tally.
Fourth Period:
Humberto Briceno notched his first collegiate goal in the frame.
Belmont Abbey would cruise to a 22-3 victory.
