MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Men's Basketball team will take on High Point in an exhibition on Saturday before hosting Elizabeth City State on Sunday.
Prior to the contest, High Point will honor legendary head coach Bob Burke, as Burke was a dear friend of HPU's Coach Smith.

MEN'S BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS
Chowan fell to 0-2 on the season after rallying back from a double-digit deficit to take a double-digit lead before ultimately falling to Lees-McRae on Tuesday.
Jay Estime leads the team with 19.0 points per game. RJ Wilson chips in with 11.0 points a night. Calvin Ahoume paces the team with 7.5 rebounds per game.

High Point is 2-3 on the season under legendary head coach Tubby Smith (former coach at Kentucky, Tulsa, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas Tech, and Memphis).
The Panthers are led by John-Michael Wright averaging 20.0 points a game. HPU has four players in double-digits as Jaden House (14.2), Zack Austin (13.2), and Bryant Randleman (10.3) score in double-figures.
Elizabeth City State is 1-2 on the season coming off their home opening loss to Charleston last week.
Zacchues Hobbs leads the team with 21.0 points per game, while Shykeef Daniels (11.3) and Jayden Beloti (10.7) average double-figures.
