HAWKS FILES

The Hawks will look to build off a 1-12 season in Nicolette Dungee's first season.  The Hawks return 11 players from last season's squad to compliment the seven newcomers including transfer: Brooke Woods-Pennell.

Misten White and Tashana Barnett return as the leading scorers for the Hawks finding the back of the net 20 times.  Barnett scored half of her goals against Newberry last season.  Jordan Nicholson tallied 11 goals and six assists.

THE WOLVES HOWL

Newberry started the season on the short-end of a 13-12 overtime loss to start-up program Lander last weekend.  The Wolves went 3-14 last season including the overtime win against Chowan in Murfreesboro.

Chloe Wood, Sophie Moore, and Marissa Plumer registered hat-tricks in the loss.  Wood also tallied three assists.
