MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan Softball team adjusted their weekend schedule with the snow and weather against Anderson and Holy Family.

The doubleheader against Anderson has been moved to Monday, February 24, while the contests against Holy Family originally scheduled for Sunday has been canceled because of travel.

Chowan is 3-6 on the season after a 0-5 trip at the Patriot Invitational last weekend.

Paige Wilhelm leads the team with a .476 batting average and on a four-game hitting stream.  Lindsey Stigler is hitting .391 with three doubles and eight RBI.

Megan Vincent is 2-3 in the circle this season with 21 strikeouts.  EmaRae Flores is 1-3 this season.

TROJAN ARMY

Anderson is 6-4 on the season and will play Barton before coming to Murfreesboro on Monday.

Morgan Charter leads the Trojans at the plate with a .462 batting average and 12 RBI.  Charter and Kayson Boatner have two home runs each.  Meghan Majeski is hitting .375 on the season.

Kayla Pepper is 2-2 in the circle with a 1.35 ERA.  The Trojans are allowing 2.27 earned runs this season.
