MURFREESBORO, N.C. – After two close games, the Chowan Esports team was unable to rally to capture a game in a 3-0 loss to Keiser in Rocket League action on Friday evening.

INSIDE THE GAME

Camryn Snow and Sullivan Prince recorded a goal each in the contest.  Snow finished with one goal, four shots and five saves.  Prince notched a goal on his only shot of the contest with four saves.

Cameryn Cassell continues to lead the team defensively with seven saves.  Cassell also registered 888 points in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Game One: Chowan 2, Keiser 3

Camryn Snow started off the game strong scoring a goal 59 seconds into the contest to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead.

The defensive battle ensued despite the Hawks allowing three goals over the next three minutes.

With 44 ticks on the clock, Sullivan Prince would inch the Hawks closer with a goal.  Chowan made one last effort to send the opening game into extra time but was unable to get the ball to cross the line.  Keiser looked to extend their lead late in the game but Prince denied the goal with a save with 15 seconds remaining.

Game Two: Chowan 0, Keiser 2

Chowan was unable to score as Keiser put the Hawks on their back foot.  Cameryn Cassell recorded three saves in the game.  Camryn Snow posted one save as both posted two shots on goal in the loss.

Game Three: Chowan 0, Keiser 9

The final game of the match was not indicative of the series as Chowan was unable to recover from two competitive games to open the series.  Camryn Snow denied four shots, while Cameryn Cassell posted two.

Chowan will take on Full Sail Armada and Southeastern on Tuesday, October 20.  Opening match against Full Sail Armada begins at 8pm.
