TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Chowan Men's Lacrosse team dropped a Conference Carolinas contest on the road against North Greenville on Saturday afternoon.

Jaxon Martin led the Hawks with two goals.  Austin Lee tallied one goal.

Slater Bender took the loss in cage stopping nine shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED

First Quarter:

Jaxon Martin put the Hawks on the board after an early North Greenville tally to even the score.

The Crusaders would take a 4-1 lead before a weather delay forced a stoppage with just over four minutes remaining in the period.

NGU would lead 6-1 heading to the second stanza.

Second Quarter:

North Greenville continued to push ahead in the half with three goals before Jaxon Martin tallied the second goal in the contest for the Hawks.

The Crusaders led 11-2 at the half.

Third Quarter:

NGU pushed their advantage to 14-2 in the period with three goals before Austin Lee found the back of the net late in the quarter.

Fourth Quarter:

The Crusaders would dominate the period with seven goals to take the 22-3 victory.
